2005-2007: I studied with James Watt College (Greenock), and achieved an HNC and HND in Complementary Therapies

2010: I was recruited by Mar Hall 5* Spa as a Spa Therapist, training in Aveda.

​

2013: I was recruited by Steiner Transocean LTD and offered a place at the prestigious

Steiner Training Academy in London. 
I trained privately with Steiner in 6* Spa Therapies, the Elemis brand and their infamous high standard of Spa Therapy training, before being chosen for employment by

Disney Cruise Line.

​

2014: I travelled to Walt Disney World (Orlando) and signed my contract as a Spa Hostess for Disney Cruise Line. 

I undertook 2 days training in Disney Traditions (Disney's Guest Service standards) prior to my placement on the Disney Dream vessel.
I worked as a 6* Spa Hostess within the Senses Spa on the Disney Dream, catering to guests on the cruise ship and on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.

2014-2022: I established and developed my business, Serenity Bay Therapies, where I offered a variety of Massage, Spa, Nail and Oncology-safe services within the heart of Inverclyde.

​

2017: I gained my VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Nail Technology.

​

I qualified as a Baby Massage Instructor.

​

2018: I was recruited by Gleddoch 4* Spa as a Spa Therapist, where I would work along-side my therapy business (Serenity Bay Therapies). 

I refreshed my training in the Elemis brand, undertook some training in the Ishga brand, and gained my first Diploma in Jennifer Young Oncology-Safe Spa Therapies.

2019: I gained my 2nd Diploma in Oncology Massage.

​

I qualified in Pregnancy Massage (including abdomen)

​

I trained with Shared Beauty Secrets, qualifying in Lava Shell Massage.

​

2020-2021: I spent both lockdowns practising CPD with Jennifer Young, in Oncology-Safe massage. I'd attend weekly online seminars with Jennifer Young herself, developing my knowledge in this area.

I continued my training in Lava Shell Massage, qualifying in Sensory Retreats Divine Escape massage.

​

2022: I re-established my therapy business after a short break, operating within

Rituals Spa and Beauty.

​

2023: I qualified in Skin Peels, Dermaplaning, Microneedling and HydraDermabrasion.

I travelled to Grasse ("Perfume Capital of the World") on the Cote d'Azur, where I undertook some refresher training with Fragonard and Galimard perfumeries in blending aromatherapy for cosmetic use.

I began my training in Laser & IPL treatments.

2024: I trained with Dermalase and qualified in Advanced Laser & IPL treatments including: IPL Hair Removal, IPL Skin Pigmentation Correction, IPL Blood Vessel treatment, IPL Acne treatment, Laser Tattoo Removal, Laser Skin Pigmentation Correction, and Carbon Laser Peel Facial.

I opened my new salon business, The Four Seasons salon.

​

2025: The Four Seasons became a MASCed accredited salon.

The Four Seasons became an official Map My Mole clinic.

I qualified in CryoPen.
